Competition Sponsorship
Illinois State Music Teachers Association is seeking donors to fund awards and stipends for the ISMTA and MTNA Student Competitions! ISMTA Members/Teachers/Friends, please share this opportunity with individuals and companies who may be interested!
ISMTA suggests a commitment of at least 3 years for each sponsorship opportunity!
Sponsorship would fund the cash awards and stipends related to competition entry expenses. Sponsors have the option to designate to one or more of the three areas of sponsorship listed below. Any excess money will supplement general competition operating expenses, such as judges honorariums, and any deficit will be covered by ISMTA.
Sponsorships can be named, anonymous, or in honor/in memory of an individual. Sponsors will be acknowledged with the award, in our annual conference book, on our website, and will be offered advertising space in our conference book if appropriate. The Illinois State Music Teachers Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association. Donations are tax deductible.

ISMTA Performance Competitions Awards
ISMTA Competitions are a single tier competition, offered in two locations, for piano solo and piano duet. Winner awards vary in amount, based on level of competition.
National Conference/Competition Travel Stipends for National Finalists (Performance) and National Winners (Composition) for Illinois Winners of the MTNA Competitions
National finalists for performance and national winners for composition must travel to the national conference/competitions. Stipends would help finance travel to the event and would be divided evenly between recipients, not to exceed $500 each.

Division Competition Stipends for Illinois Winners of the MTNA Competitions
State winners of the MTNA Student Competitions advance to an online-only video round for division competition. Stipends would help finance entrant expenses, such as the cost of producing video, or payment for an accompanist. Each state winner receives a stipend of $100.
