I earned a Master of Music in organ performance at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music at Wheaton College with an organ major and piano minor. I studied piano an additional five years with Stephen Nielson, a concert pianist. I have been an active church musician for many years. My piano students participate in the Sonata-Sonatina Festival, school competitions and piano auditions sponsored by the National Guild of Piano Teachers. My teacher certification is from the National Guild of Piano Teachers/American College of Musicians.
